For epistemic markers we adopt an empirically-driven approach and utilize the epistemic markers identified in a corpus of dialogical argumentation by Hautli-Janisz et al. We consider expressions such as ‘I think’, ‘it is believed’ and ‘in my opinion’ to be epistemic.
